About the firm

AI R&D for companies.

Our founders spent years building machine learning systems inside large organizations. Most of the AI initiatives they saw stalled between the pilot and production. We started NexGen AI Ops to close that gap.

Why we exist

The gap between what AI can do and what companies get from it is an execution problem.

The research is public. The models are available to anyone. What most companies don't have is a team that can take a real business problem, work out whether AI solves it, prove it on their data, and build something that still works a year later.

Big consultancies sell the strategy and staff the work with juniors. Vendors sell the product they already have. Internal teams are stretched across everything else. We sit in between: a research and engineering unit that works your problem for a defined period and leaves the capability behind.

How we work

Six rules.

  • Evidence first. We test on your data before we recommend anything.Research
  • Senior people do the work. Nobody learns on your time.Staffing
  • Say no early. If AI isn't the answer, the study says so.Candor
  • Build for the handover. Documentation and training are in scope.Delivery
  • You own everything. Code, models, pipelines, and the reasoning behind them.Ownership
  • Every program gets a dedicated team for its full length.Focus
Who you work with

Researchers and engineers. No account managers.

Each program gets a team of two to four. A lead researcher who owns the technical direction. Engineers who build and deploy. A partner accountable for the outcome. The people you meet in the first call are the people who do the work.

Between us we have built and run ML systems in financial services, healthcare, logistics, and enterprise software. Several of us have sat on the client side of AI programs. It shows in how we scope and how we report.

Get in touch

It starts with a conversation.

Tell us about the problem, the data you have, and where you are in the decision. We scope every program around that conversation. We reply within two business days.
